a lot of times we get frustrated and disappointed because we feel that we did not get the appreciation we deserve. But in many cases, we seek that approval from just the wrong person. we demand and demand for a certain person to praise us. to notice us. but they don't.

well, try to look around you and you might find that there are hundreds of people that are proud of you, appreciates you, value you..but you just ignore or discount them as non valuables. ironic isn't it?

the chaos during meetings

money vs responsibility

maybe money is everything for most people. maybe not. but i think responsibility should still be priority, maybe at least to me.

a couple of days ago i was startled by an ad on TV. It was an ad for ABC battery. the ad was, in my opinion very violent. even though it was executed cutely but it was promoting violence.

the ad was about a family shooting each other and ended by the grandmother having the most powerful weapon to eliminate all. am i over reacting? maybe. but i think we, so called advertising expert should know better than to execute such ad that promotes violence is OK. shooting people is no big deal, it's fun. And please don't use excuses like "but Disney has been doing it through cartoons for ages.." ya ya..so if everybody jumps off the cliff, would you? if everybody is giving poison to their baby, would you? wouldn't you want to be the first to take the right step? to do the right thing? wouldn't you?

please, please, please..we really don't need another violent film on TV. enough already!! look at our world today and look how much violence there is around us. wouldn't you prefer peace instead?

think about it before making another ad. i love advertising and money, but responsibility still comes first. our responsibility to society.

15 March "Drug abuse prevention talk show" with Kick Andy - in support of my dear good friend Veronica Colondam. A very useful talk show..it definitely made me start reading Veron's book again and be more sensitive and aware of my son's action and environment.

what else? - lots of office politics, new business pitches [from january till february, we have pitched 5 new biz and won 2, now awaiting announcement for the rest - cross fingers], recruitment's, new client projects [Lotte Xylitol], Y&R APAC CEO visit, Digital new biz development, etc. it has been a real busy beginning of the year; which is great, of course!! can't complaint but thank God for the good start, good fortune. amien.
