Modern does not alienate culture, tradition and heritage. It should actually enhance it. Develop it. Make it even more richer than what our ancestors has left us. And it should not be seen as westernizing it, but it should be seen as making it more relevant to today's world in order for the tradition to live on. I found this really great video of a Japanese show of traditional culture mixed with modern high technology. "Takizawa in Enbujou", a show and performer I really want to see.
Indonesia is rich in culture and heritage, we need to ensure that it stays alive for generations to come. Therefore, we need to continuously keep it relevant and interesting...like this.
